Because people have been brainwashed into thinking arithmetic is maths, and maths is too difficult for ordinary people, and ALSO, that ordinary people are entitled to have opinions about things that they don't understand.

We did give sick leave from day1. After taking 6 weeks sick in her 1st 4 months, girl got pregnant, doctor said her "stress" was maternity related, and we had to keep her job open 18 months. She'd already told us both parents were on long term sick, and i knew she knew how to game the system.

I mis-spoke.
I was deeply impressed to be told 3 days ago that i need a scan, and to be offered one in 7 days time.
That my GP did not offer an emergency appointment is my fault for not asking.

That would be perfect. Invite the editor of the Times round for tea and show them off.

After a fair, the egg-company sold off sweet pink-dyed fluffy chicks. Ours grew into an enormous white rooster which strutted round the garden scaring the dogs, and seduced our neighbour's free-range chickens over the fence.

But what difference does that make? Not paying tax is the point.

It's a bit difficult to prove, I expect.
Most corrupt in last 100 years might be more verifiable.
Are BBC journalists allowed to repost that?

People think that if something affects them they have a RIGHT to an opinion, and to have their opinion respected, even if they don't understand it.

It sounds sort-of OK to me. I'll find out in 6 years time.
