Life full time in an old Rv. I love art and people- especially people who think differently than I do and can help me see things in a new way. Teach me something.
St Pete Fl sponsors shopapaloozza this weekend. It’s like an art show with only local and small businesses represented. It’s a great way to find local businesses shop for unique gifts and support the local economy. I’d like to see it in more places.

We had similar experiences. Went looking for shark teeth at Venice Beach. We found a few.

Thank you- it was awful. My dad didn’t handle her death very well and wouldn’t share her things with her daughters. Everything was given to charity and the house emptied like she didn’t exist.
I will try your suggestion.

Having this conversation with my husband. My doctor told me to lose weight my husband said -honey you wear a size 8 there’s no reason to lose weight. You need to lose this doctor and start enjoying yourself again.
My husband is someone with a level head.

I’ve never done porcelain. I’m porcelain curious and you just taught me my first fun fact that I need a finer tool for my makers mark when I get started. Thank you

Please share resources above how to relax the wool and your success. I was given one of my mother’s Irish knits after she died The sweater accidentally was tossed in the wash. I felt like I lost her a second time. My hope is to revive the sweater-

I found a simple cookie stamp at Michael’s craft shop. It was less than $10 and I used my initials. Then took it to my clay class and shared with other beginners.

You are other worldly genius! What ever inspired you to do art in this direction? Your work is incredible.

Im knitting a very similar pattern. I’m old and have knitted since I was a small child-decent skill and learning a lot with this. The pattern I used is kicking my butt. I’ve frogged it at every step. I think it’s taken me 3years to accomplish what you have. I’m cheering for your success.

You are right-the matching has to start with fabric purchase. You need enough fabric for the pattern repeats Then lay out your paper pattern while visualizing what seams will line up while cutting. This doesn’t happen randomly. Matching seams adds quality and value to your garment.

The only way to grow is to stretch yourself. Try the violin.

My GGrandma was a dressmaker in the late 1800’s. In the 1970’s she was aghast that mass produced clothing didn’t have matched seams. We couldn’t buy clothes. We had to make them and seams had to match It’s a lost art Congratulations on your new skill That’s quite the accomplishment

You should try! Remember to add an equal seam allowance. Possibly stabilizer to the fabric depending on what you are making.

Wasn’t she the person with the strange gait planting bombs on Jan 5. Strangely nobody could identify that person.
