We had similar experiences. Went looking for shark teeth at Venice Beach. We found a few.
Waves rolling in on a beach covered with shells Gopher tortoise sitting in a shady spot on the beach Child knee deep in sea foam on the beach. The water was much warmer than the air this morning.

This is what we carried today while marching up State Street
Signs for No Kings Day. Madison Wi One professional sign given out says-They’re eating the dogs. They’re eating the cats. Their other sign is homemade saying-No Faux king Way! Both signs and small American flag are sitting on a bench.

Seen today in Clearwater Florida. It was good for a chuckle. All the way home I was singing the theme song- you got a friend in me.
A very faded cowboy Woody from Toy Story (the movie) is hanging on to an equally faded Buzz Light Year. They appear to be trying to hoist each other up to the bumper of a black pickup truck.
