I feel like it was as if to say “this has been here,” prior to the volatility surrounding social media entities within the last month, and not an insult to the elderly. JMO though. Let’s not make an interpreted meme be the shoestring we decide to share our thoughts on; look at the bigger picture.

I didn’t see the joke, but appreciate the thread and agree. My daughter and I were just talking about what’s going on, and I asked her if she had ever heard of the frog in hot water analogy. She hadn’t, so I explained it. The lot of us will suffer if we’re quiet, even those who think they’re immune.

She’s like, “You know it, I know it, so why isn’t it happening?”

I got the dishes done and that was it, and ya know what, I’m okay with that. Everything could demand our energy if we let it. Maybe after a day of rest, you’ll feel rejuvenated tomorrow. One step at a time.

I’m from the United States and I apologize that I don’t know French, but I’m in love with his music.

Here in upstate NY, my daughter made friends with a great blue heron. Only happened once, but we’ll never forget it.

Yesss. A course like that wasn’t offered when I went to college, but media literacy should be required. Instead, I took philosophy, Native American studies, and other courses that opened up my world.

As long as our babies are cared for, that’s all that matters!

Minnesota is quite different from the cold we get in Upstate NY. We get lake effect snow when it’s really cold, but not the brutally cold temps you get!

Congratulations! I wasn’t sure where you taught, haha. I’m a TA in New York public schools, and as a part of NYSUT, has one of the strongest public school teachers unions in the nation.

Both are terrifying to me. Being in deep water makes me hyperventilate, and I’ve never been to space. It’s the fear of not having solid ground to stand on and the ability to breathe.

You got me. (Great Egret in a place where they’re considered “rare.”)
