the name is short for “variable star”. saki chose it because of how her health makes her feel like her brightness flickers in and out. (stronger emphasis on chronic health/disability issues!) i think ichika relates to it more in a mental health way—she struggles more with that here than in canon

saki does lyrics and composition and ichika does arrangement and tuning miku. they dont typically include their own vocals.

I think their music has a similar sound and tone to aktari
