Bruno said it best. The cross stands steady as the world turns. I find relief in what is unchanging and real and divine and suffering that literally fell down to meet me.

But my classroom has to convey my joy and hope in Him to my students. I have to vent the steam before my grief morphs to despair and hardness of heart.

I suppose nothing has changed in 2,000 years. And my annoyance is nothing compared with His road to Calvary.

I'm just tired. American infrastructure is going to pieces. And I get through each day with my faith placed in the risen Christ, only to see people jeer at His image and those who follow his precepts that aren't in step with secular values.

The people who crap on Christianity wouldn't dare say a word against another faith. And sometimes that double-standard just gets to be too much.
