It’s honestly really weird being outside of work now, around people who don’t get it. Hope is dwindling and, at VA, we’re just trying to help every veteran we can before we all fade away. I love what I do and I don’t want to stop. It’s so incredibly sad.

It’s honestly really weird being outside of work now, around people who don’t get it. Hope is dwindling and, at VA, we’re just trying to help every veteran we can before we all fade away. I love what I do and I don’t want to stop. It’s so incredibly sad.
Promotions for those who respond early- then fired because the promotion put them back in a probationary period.
He’s threatening to fire federal employees who don’t respond to his email by tomorrow. He has already fired employees with impeccable performance reviews. Promotions will be based on responses to his email rather than detailed performance evaluations by their direct supervisor.

Here is the oath all executive branch employees take. It is to support and defend the Constitution, not to “implement the president’s agenda.” If the two purposes diverge, the Constitution prevails.

There is not a single person at the VA who is not mission-critical. We work for VA because we are passionate about serving veterans. Full stop. The past two days have been devastating. My heart and full support are with my fellow feds.
I’m going to continue to work until my computer access is revoked,” Lennox said. “Then I’m going to volunteer. I’m going to keep working as best I can to support the veterans. That’s what I’m here for.”
