I use musher booties - there are two thicknesses nylon (what's pictured below) and fleece. Both have a velcro attachment. They are great for winter and inexpensive.

Words cannot describe my love for this fluffy beast. He gets sweeter every day. We spend a lot of time just the two of us in the summer while my partner works in another town. I soak up every minute, especially snuggly ones.

This summer has been cool and rainy... so when the weather is nice, I've learned to make the most of it (when I can!). I left work early yesterday to take out my paddle board. Just me, a whole bunch of jumping fish, some ducks, and a beaver I annoyed on a nearby lake. It was perfect.

Charlie's feeling much more like himself this morning, complete with tail wags, goofiness, and interest in longer walks. I'm so glad to see he's feeling better before I have to leave him tomorrow for over a week! #UglyDogs

Charlie was already a member, unfortunately, but we didn't know there was a badge! He has a champ through his surgery and is working his way back to full chomp status.

Please send Charlie (and me!) some good vibes today. After noticing a broken tooth on the weekend, he's having it extracted today. I'm happy they could fit him in, but it's still stressful.

I said I wouldn't build a front garden this year, but I have craved a flower garden in this spot since we moved in a few years ago... Is this the garden I planned to build? Not at all! Instead of the huge project I planned, I dialed back plans to meet my capacity! (A huge personal victory!)

I'm on Day 3 of being sick... I've chosen to embrace the rest (something I have a hard time doing) because I've known for a while now that that's what my body is craving. Luckily, I have a wonderful nurse to make sure I get the rest I need.
