It's hard to explain summers in the north to those who haven't experienced living here (not just visiting).
It's 10pm. The sun hasn't set yet. My neighbour (who's in her 80s) is showing another neighbour something in her garden. It's the little things.

This summer has been cool and rainy... so when the weather is nice, I've learned to make the most of it (when I can!). I left work early yesterday to take out my paddle board. Just me, a whole bunch of jumping fish, some ducks, and a beaver I annoyed on a nearby lake. It was perfect.
