Overjoyed to see Jeff Friedman’s fantastic new book—The Commander-In-Chief Test—now in print. The book uses multiple methods to advance the argument that presidential candidates of both parties are incentivized to take more hawkish foreign policy positions, w/imp. implications for candidates now
