What I’m doing to manage the noise level and emotions:

1. Abstaining from tv right now unless it’s a movie or series I want to watch on Netflix or HBO, etc. No mainstream news.

2. Changing my routine.

3. Lighting an aromatherapy candle and getting on the floor doing easy, gentle stretches. 🧵 ⬇️

A powerful tool when the world feels overwhelming is 3x3x3.

Put one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.

Take three deep, slow breaths. (Slower on the exhale is very helpful.)

For three minutes.

Three times a day.

Tell yourself “I am safe.”

When you’re hurting, when you’re angry, try to take a pause and breathe. Ask yourself “why is this personal to me?”

It’s not saying there aren’t injustices. It’s asking you to understand your trigger.

When you locate that you can come back to neutral and from neutral you are much more effective.

What you decided about yourself when you were little was due to the circumstances that you experienced.

It never gets old. It never feels anything less than extraordinary..

When a client has a massive breakthrough on their fourth session on something they've been buried under for 30 years that's inhibited them from living their life with any sense of freedom.

After 6 years of talk therapy....
