I went into ‘Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man’ with relatively low expectations, but honestly, it proved to be a really fun and well written series! I’m actually really excited for more! The newly branded Marvel Animation are two for two so far between this and X-Men ‘97!

I don’t think that’s allowed inside the White House lads.

Also went to the cinema 20 times this year. A poultry number when compared to previous years, but I accepted a long time ago that I’ll never again reach the dizzying heights of my student days. I’m a busy adult now (with no cinema membership or career in the industry 😭).

Not bad for a year that’s been half teacher training and half backpacking across the world! 2024 was a busy year! Also, this year’s actor and director came about from a lengthy MCU rewatch, naturally.

Between the teacher training and the backpacking, I really didn’t have much time for gaming in 2024. However, with the free time I DID have over the Summer, I went all in on one epic series. The Mass Effect trilogy is now an all-time favourite of mine.

As always though, there were tons of shows on my ‘best of 2024’ list that were holdovers from previous years! It was great to (finally) experience some of these shows!

Absolutely baffled that a movie @kurtis-conner.bsky.social did a video on is proudly displayed on Disney+. Like, you barely have to scroll to find this, it’s right there among the classics.
