American democratic socialism could emerge as a major political force in this country -- but its main organization, DSA, is currently encumbered by those who have no interest in such a perspective.

I wrote about it all!

Tuberculosis Resurgent as Trump Funding Cut Disrupts Treatment Globally

This is consistent with AWRADs recent polls. PCPSR has shown Hamas with much higher numbers but even their polls shows Hamas support has fallen. Like AWRAD ISEPs polls show the 2ss as the most popular democratic solution to the conflict among Palestinians

The latest ISEP poll in Gaza, conducted from January 22 to 27, 2025, shows that only 6% of Gazans support Hamas rule, and just 5.3% would vote for them.

@aoc.bsky.social is not wrong but I think there has been a cultural shift on the left from 2018 when AOC was first elected with a focus on making political change and opposing Trump's authoritarianism to a self satisfied piety It needs to change to fight Trump's authoritarianism
It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Most election polling in Israel indicates that will move towards a more centrist coalition with factions with attitudes of support to agnostic on a Palestinian state, if Bennet doesn't run.

There is no greater threat to our future than dehumanization.

They dehumanize us, we dehumanize them, and slowly but permanently, we lose our humanity.

Even in the toughest moments, it is crucial to remain human.

It's our deepest hope that this temporary peace is made permanent and that the Cohens and all families can embrace their loved ones again.

There is enough room in every heart to rejoice in the return of our hostages, and also to wish for Gazans to no longer face daily death.

There is enough room in every heart to feel the pain from both sides, and enough room to feel the happiness from both sides.

There is enough room in every heart.
