I was fascinated to see one of these old-fashioned kind of step stools in the tenant break room of my office building, looking very new. I had no idea they were still being made because I don't think I've seen one since I was in school in the '80s.

I'll this (not my copy.) The first appearance of furry Hank McCoy, full of gloomy, atmospheric art by Tom Sutton and Syd Shores. I think we'd call it body horror today, as Hank panics, finding himself trapped in a monstrous form. It's a good short run, with appearances by Patsy Walker pre-Hellcat.

I found a 1978 Book Club edition of one of my favorite King books for a good price - I've been wanting a copy for ages.
I feel a little self-consciously contrarian but I think I prefer the cut version originally published. And it works so much better with the original 1980 setting.

The reason MARTA rail service in Atlanta doesn't branch NW or extend further west is that's Cobb Co. They preferred to create their own system, and guess why?

We got gifted tickets in the Delta 360Sky Club at the Braves game tonight. I can't believe people live like this. The nice lady just keeps bringing snacks and stuff.
