i hope the motel lady still feeds the two cats well. i hope someone, who is able to care for them of course, takes both pretty girl and old boy home with them and cares for them and showers them with love. i hope they are okay. i wish i could have taken them.

she’s just a kitty, i wonder how confused she was to wake up one day in a strange room, far from home, with all the people who were supposed to love her —all the people she knew— gone and not coming back for her….it made and still makes me cry.

and pretty girl…i cried a little when the lady told me a family just abandoned her. how could they do that? you left a daughter behind! she was so sweet, pretty girl. i wish i could’ve taken the kitties with me and gotten them some help. poor, sweet kitties.

old boy made me so sad because he was obvious more afraid of humans and would not let me come as near him as pretty girl did. one of his eyes was so cloudy, and both were crusted so bad.

i had four cans of tuna with me. i fed the kitties two cans of my tuna and left the remaining two in the room with a note for the nice lady who worked at the front desk to please feed it to the kitties.
