unfinished little self portrait sketch

and pretty girl…i cried a little when the lady told me a family just abandoned her. how could they do that? you left a daughter behind! she was so sweet, pretty girl. i wish i could’ve taken the kitties with me and gotten them some help. poor, sweet kitties.

old boy made me so sad because he was obvious more afraid of humans and would not let me come as near him as pretty girl did. one of his eyes was so cloudy, and both were crusted so bad.

over the summer i stayed at a motel near yosemite. there were two cats that the lady at the front desk nicknamed old boy and pretty girl. pretty girl had been left by past guests. they just left her there. the prettiest girl, and old boy had such bad eyes, and i think about them often.

just started reading lonesome traveler by jack kerouac! it’s only 152 pages so i am going to try to savour it…may start my reread of frankenstein while reading this to aid in lengthening my reading experience.

currently reading lolita. i really like how its written, the writing style is very playful and poetic with lots of alliteration. however, the subject matter is so disturbing that despite my love for it, i wanna bash my head in the wall.
