I can't access to *For Want of a Nail* but I am currently reading *Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire*! It's easily my second favorite in this "genre". Third Favorite is *Fire & Blood* and Fourth Favorite is *Edge of Midnight* (only because there are five books in this genre)
