I'm so glad mt man had surgery and needed assistance. this was the burn out recovery weekend I needed. I've turned his med management over to him and plan to sleep in bed with my white noise on. it's noon and I'm giddy for bed.

Just removed mt man's drain 🤢🤢🤢 he was very close to passing out and I was very close to crying. my ptsd treatment for that should be covered as part of his surgery bill🤢🤢🤢

Attempted to call mt man out on his "asks for help" coming out as passive statements//demands, but definitely not polite requests. "I itch" is a statement. "SCRATCH ME!" is a demand. "Can you please come scratch this itch I can't reach?" is how to not piss me off 101

I never made soup with the scraps in my freezer and now both mt man's mom and aunt overnight shipped soups. He doesn't even like soup. I still have weird pantry soup from last weekend I never finished. I'm going to need to rearrange freezer space tomorrow.

Beavis woke up at 430 with us for surgery and walked for an hour while we were waiting for mt man, ate some kibble, escaped from his crate, and tried on new sweaters. Now he's fast asleep.

Mt man gets very short when he's in pain/needs help, though he apologizes quickly, he'll say "I'm sorry I don't mean to be short with you but..." it's the but... that makes me want to punch him in his new shoulder 🤬🧘
