Every year, the UN General Assembly meets in NYC. Perhaps you know what a huge deal it is. This year, in response to Mahmoud Abbas’ visa denial, they’ve voted to convene in Geneva.
Anyone know where they are with that? The vote passed but we haven’t heard if the relocation is happening or not.

- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention

If you’ve ever read James Baldwin or or researched Eugene Debs or watched footage of Fred Hampton and thought, “Man! I wish I’d been alive when they were,” then don’t miss the words of Sam Beard and cohost Jamie Peck.
As an aside, as a former corporate tech careerist, I fucking hate hackathons. Simply the grossest waste of time just so devs can openly display their tech boners and their employers can steal their ideas.

As an aside, as a former corporate tech careerist, I fucking hate hackathons. Simply the grossest waste of time just so devs can openly display their tech boners and their employers can steal their ideas.
