Well. One girl had a severe asthma attack while Alex and I were outside setting up the fire pit. All the girls reacted swiftly and called her mother and came and got us, poor thing had to go home. In the whirl of all that my youngest’s buddy had a full meltdown, overstimulated.

This is a place that is majority white people with money. So their kids are fucking insufferable and they are the fakest humans I’ve ever observed. I can’t imagine what their inner monologues are, if they have them. They stress me out.

It took Luka (bottom right) 4.5 years to let me pet him (sometimes) and he and the tabby have been mortal enemies since 2023.

We just got lucky this morning. Usually at minimum the tabby needs to eat on the steps if not in another room.
