At this point I think the Zarah camp just needs to go it alone. Or join The Greens. It seems like whenever she tries to do something she is just dragged down by whatever else is going on in there.

Indeed. Although the whole fundamentalist thing has never really taken root in the UK, apart from North Ireland. "Religious belief" is a wonderful screen for their many bigotries and a way of uniting dumb and hateful people.

People really need to pay attention to the rise of the religious right in Britain. They are on the move, and it is coordinated. I am convinced they are trying to make a evangelical/far-right base here like in the US.

So arresting people for incitement and hate crimes against minorities is a waste of police time is it but arresting hundreds of nans protesting genocide and authoritarian law isnt, hmmm interesting
