Not all resistance wears a bullhorn.
Some write letters.
Some carry water.
Some raise their voices.
Some raise the spirits.
Some paint banners, others hold them.
Every role matters.
This is a chorus, not a solo.
Show up how you can.
We need you all.

To repeat: executive orders are not laws and they are not royal decrees.

Oh. Yay. I’m sure this will have no repercussions whatsoever.

Finally.
Good to see that unions representing federal workers are directly suing Treasury Sec Scott Bessent and the Treasury Department over Elon Musk's access to payment systems, alleging extensive lawbreaking and demanding an immediate halt to it. As noted below this could bear fruit.

This! Keep pushing!
Trump backing down after the slightest pushback should be instructive going forward.

Fetterman and Slotkin don’t surprise me. Many of these don’t surprise me. But damn, I’m wearing my disappointed mom face. If these are your reps you better hold them accountable. And where is Dem leadership?
These are the dems that voted to confirm the guy that just handed the Treasury to Musk:

Booker
Cantwell
Coons
Fetterman
Gallego
Gillibrand
Hassan
Hickenlooper

This is some BS. Where is their own website? Why only post to X? Well, know why.
The NTSB has announced that it will only post updates for plane crash investigations on Elon Musk's website.

What next? They will only have their Christmas parties at Trump resorts?

Probably going to be a lot of walking away from questions over the next few years.
REPORTER: Is there an acting FAA director?

DUFFY: *walks away*

This is a long read, but it breaks down the issue of a President trying to stop the spending of funds already appropriated and released by Congress. These are decisions that will affect you and your families.

120. The Impoundment Crisis of 2025
The Trump administration's Monday spending freeze is likely to provoke a crisis over the constitutionality of "impoundment"—one that the justices could well have to resolve *very* soon.

All of this. He tried to ban that app with an executive order the first time he was president, because he didn’t like people mocking him. But he’s y’all’s hero now? Bread and circuses.
Don’t worry TikTok people.

I am 1,000% confident Trump is going to give you back TikTok as a distraction while he deports your friends and enacts a national abortion ban because he’s counting on you acting like he’s a man of the people and looking the other way while Republicans roll out fascism.
