So I'm always disappointed when I see people visiblely sick in public, especially at Church. Then during covid all they wanted to do was open churches not caring about spreading the virus. Maybe this is part of the decline in attendance.

Another clarification, my father and I got covid at the beginning almost 6 years ago in April. He died from it and I just made it. More than likely got it from going to church because at that time they where just starting to shut everything down and that was likely the last place we where.

I should clarify that I go to Mass once in awhile during the week because of sick people. Once I see the priest blowing his nose or parishioners hacking I have to leave and then I'm turned off for awhile.

They really dropped the ball on that. I go once in awhile during the week. I am vulnerable to sickness and Catholics don't care about making others sick, so I diy my Catholicism.

I find it difficult to go because of bad experiences of priests not showing up or denying me while inline because they had no more time. Plus, times are usually limited to a half hour before Saturday 5pm mass. I'd do a drive up. I wish the Church would have done outdoor masses during covid.

Maybe they are not ready to get married or are doing a Church wedding for the wrong reasons. Like a photo opp. I'm big against people using churches for pretty wedding pictures.
