Not really because no one in Catholicism other than pfleger is allowed to act like a clown in Church to please a few blacks putting money in his basket.
Pfleger is beloved by his parishoners.
And allowed by the diocese, he has fashioned the proceedings to better reflect the culture of the community which the church serves.

Hoopla around the altar during consecration. It’s a shame that #Pfleger is allowed to continue to mock the Catholic Church’s traditions while exploiting the Black community for his own platform. Our faith and our neighborhoods deserve real leadership, not a performance. #StSabina #Chicago

Totally disagree. Your allowing people to have a Church wedding who probably don't go to Church or won't be for long. This is just a poor way of rationalizing growing the faith.
In Australia, religious marriages have declined from 80% to 20% within only a few decades. I'd personally allow the petals. And the confetti. And the rice. Just saying. Looks like it won't be long before there are almost NO religious weddings in this country.
