there's a fundamental asymmetry at play...and it leads people to say dems can't get anything done. its HARD to build things, to create something. its relatively easy to just tear down the world. as we are seeing vividly displayed

everyone gets better for like a week, then...boom...text from neighbor kid that spent whole weekend in our house, "uhh our oldest has strep"...so...now everyone in OUR house has strep. rinse and repeat

5 years ago or so I interviewed for an internal promotion they asked what I saw next 6 months like. I told them it would be all reactive to the pandemic. Didn't get the job. They said I was wrong about 6 months and that's why I didn't get the bump 🤷
