I'll just be honest and I'm extremely skeptical of free buses: A fare, even a nominal one, creates a legal nexus for excluding the "worst offenders" from ruining the bus experience for others.
I also believe that once a revenue incentive is removed, NYC Bus will be a target for disinvestment.

to do so promptly exists and is not a barrier. PD's probably shouldn't be in control of their bodycams at all - that should be in the hands of a judicial branch.

Anyone who's spent time at the location - and I've jumped that fence at that spot 1,000 times - knows exactly why UW doesn't want a gate there. People who want to walk the trails have alternatives and I find this op/ed disingenuous.
