The GOP/MAGA have primed a large % of Americans to believe they were being hurt far more than $3800 by Dem policies. They had ppl believing their retirement savings were bleeding despite all time highs.

Agree. If only there was a dem war room w/experts who could connect these basic “you’ll spend more money on the same goods” costs to the larger picture costs (decreased access to education and lower standards, more sicknesses and less access to medical care, lower quality medical care, etc)….

Why the false equivalency competition comparing two horrific situations? A lawyer targeted by the WH can absolutely face severe threats (and they do), just as trans kids endure horrifying violence. This isn’t a contest - both are unacceptable and damaging.

Let’s focus up & work to stop all of it. 🤙

Money, certainly a factor. But I dont think it’d be such a lopsided fight if it was the only factor. There is money on pro-democracy side, & far more money to be made via liberal democratic means than by authoritarian.

Fear of physical harm, and of having to fight alone, are also key factors.
