Loved doing the commentary for this lovely Blu-ray release of cult serial killer flick, Angst, with Kat Ellinger. Lots of good stuff on the disc.

Out today from @secondsightfilms.bsky.social. It was an honour to do the commentary along with my darlst Kat Ellinger. I still think it’s Big Sean’s best film to date. And that’s saying something.

RIP Ray Brooks. Narrated Mr Benn, of course, but he also made three films with exploitation king Pete Walker, including The Flesh and Blood Show, and House of Whipcord.

Daniel Day-Lewis got all the praise and the Oscar, but Hugh O’Conor is also amazing in My Left Foot (1989). He’s forgotten, but he has something like 40 minutes of screen time before Day-Lewis properly turns up.

I loved, loved, loved Sinners. My favourite aspect was its use of music as archetypal form. So good.
