About as bad as I thought.
Came across a post about someone getting hip surgery for gender care reasons.

It's been nice having to take estrogen every night now.
I might be able to build up an actual hygiene routine after being someone that's never really treated my health seriously because of this listless nature I had for most of my adult life.
I still have a long way to go but it's a start.

I never thought I'd ever be excited to take pills in my life.
Every morning I'm happy to wake up instead of the dread I felt for years and every night I have something to look forward to in the day to come.
As corny as it sounds getting on blockers and estrogen has felt genuinely magical so far.

The tense visceral feelings of anger I always got feels so much more reasonable and manageable.
I can express frustration without being furious, and cry without needing to be at my wits end.
