I’m not sure about this: a flawed woman candidate with a very short runway still won 74.7 million votes in 2024 … and lost by just 1.6% to an inexplicable political movement. I don’t think this is prof of American being “not ready”.

An added option might be to think about how transport costs punish those in the "outer zones" of London. If a Travel Card from Zone 6 didn't cost the world (it's 83% dearer than a Zone 1 pass), housing in that area suddenly becomes more attractive for a young person.
