There’s a very silly, and now wildly anachronistic, episode of the West Wing in which the Staff find themselves in a tizzy over accepting a box of moose meat from the Finnish government.

The smartest tech minds of the 1970s told us widespread adoption of computers would create the "paperless office".
There's simply no point in trying to assume what AI will do to the industrial/services complex. We don't know what will come out of the other side the "efficiencies" it will create.

This is simply not good enough. An editor cannot possibly claim to know how a message was "received" by supporters.
There was no need to edit the clip. The actions of the crowd were far more compelling.
It's too massive an error to put down to "right wing" attacks.

I am still not sure why either side (Dem/GOP) feels they’re going to earn political capital from the shutdown. It’ll be a”pox on both houses” come mid-terms. All that’s being done is providing more unfettered power to the White House.

Just heard a guest on CNBC that he's "following corruption" in going long bitcoin and digital assets.
He cited the President and his family's gains in the sector when he did so.
It's *impossible* to articulate how crazy, and yet how rational, this strategy is in our current political world.
