Last time they approached me I let them know exactly why I would never be interested.
A Facebook recruiter contacted me about a role, and I had this to say… I feel my values don't align with Facebook's past and present positions on topics such as data privacy or the amplification of misinformation. By joining Facebook, I feel, I would effectively be complicit in continuing those positions. I just want to be clear, I'm not in anyway looking to "fight" with you or have you defend Facebook on any of these topics. Life is too short, Linkedin isn't the right medium and it is far too hot this week. I figured you would appreciate a clear understanding of why I would decline.
