Recently, via a series of strange events, I moved to Warsaw’s Muranów neighborhood - since today is the 82nd anniversary of the beginning of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, here are some photos of the memorial I took on a walk. Today, this neighborhood’s tragic history feels hauntingly present.

Unclear why my parents collaborated on this tiny ghost of Christmas…past? Present? Future? Canning the holidays and going to the beach? Holiday heist? When did I book my return ticket for, anyway?
