i worked on robot soccer and we went from Sony Aibo robot dogs (which could actually do teamwork, passing, and run different plays for different situations two decades ago) to humanoid robots which have to be diligently followed around by grad students to catch them if they fall over

TIL that Minnesota has two state constitutions, because the state Democratic & Republican Parties hated each other so much that they drafted & ratified two separate, nearly identical, versions & sent *both* to the US Congress for approval.

A truly Minnesotan level of passive-aggressive pettiness.
