BIG WIN: on a strong bipartisan basis, the House voted to repeal the outdated, dangerous Iraq War authorization. reasserting Congress’s constitutional role in declaring war & limiting unchecked executive power.
POLITICO Pro: House votes to repeal Middle East war laws
The vote is a win for war powers advocates, who contend the laws allow for presidential abuses of power.
