In Michigan at least, SNAP benefits have staggered release dates, so *some* people may have received their benefits during that window, but not everybody did. The ones who didn’t are in the same boat they were before — no benefits and no resolution in sight. And who knows how long it will take.

And for those with common sense, that means vote D even if they don’t meet all your qualifications and even if you don’t care for their personality. A third-party vote or no vote means a vote for the people who are trying to dismantle our democracy.

That sounds about accurate for the Trump era. And years from now, those same people will deny that they supported him or even knew him. Every one of their names should be on a list for the future.

He’s gotten away with it for decades. This is one reason Joe Biden (correctly and with courage and foresight) pardoned his family, Dr. Fauci, and the January 6 committee. If Trump couldn’t get them in criminal court, he’d go after them in civil court. They didn’t do anything wrong.

I think a major chunk of the media is afraid of him, especially now. He might not win in court if it got that far, but he’ll put them through hell and cost them a ton of money in the process.
