I’ve got a friend who does VR games. A couple of years ago I asked him about this and it turns out VR enthusiasts buy pretty much every VR game.
So you don’t get enormous sales but you basically have a very high minimum sales.

I tend to talk about the technique. So like reinforcement learning, or classifiers, or image segmentation, etc etc

I sorta see the argument of it, it has an appeal. “Hey when getting started ignore the phonetics, they’re weird. Just use context for now, pick up the rest later.”

Just it turns out we don’t manage to ever learn the rest if you rely on context clues.
