"Hidalgo" comes to mind immediately, though I'm sure it was simulated.
When I was a kid, I came up with a top ten list of movie scenes featuring violence against horses. I can't remember what was on it except "Braveheart" and "Blazing Saddles"

Even if their inherently higher density means a lower percentage make it into our oceans, the sheer volume of micro plastics generated by auto tires should still give us pause. It's definitely painting drifting in a whole new light for me.

It's interesting to note that 25 years ago, Star Trek fans were stereotyped as the online, early adopter, SJW types, while Star wars fans were seen as generally mouth-breathing knuckle-draggers that didn't even own a pager, much less a personal computer. How things change, eh?
