Exactly. People keep saying ”don’t take Trump literally, but take him seriously” I keep thinking: it’s the other way round! They give him way too much credit trying to ”normalize” him. A narcissist believes what he says, literally, & that’s where one can oppose/disprove him, if one acts fast enough.

Or doesn’t remember properly. Happened to my auntie. She went to the doctor and then couldn’t recall what he had told her.

I wonder if we will ever know the truth about his "wealth", about his "health" and his "deals". He reminds me of the narcissist I once had the misfortune to know. It’s a pathology

(2/2) President Kennedy proudly stood for justice, peace, equality, dignity, diversity, and compassion for those who suffer. President Trump stands in opposition to these values, and his name should not be placed alongside President Kennedy's.

I don’t care about follower numbers & am not often on here. So if your statement was meant as an insult, I’m sorry you failed. Please ask yourself why you feel the need to hate people who suggest that Dems need to extend a hand to those Reps who were fooled by trump & are not evil people. Not all are

That is true, and yet, if you want to convince people to come over to your side, you need to appeal to their human core. Or do you think they do not have one? Are you convinced that anyone who voted for trump is a bad person forever?

I am talking about building a bridge to Congressmen whom you need to get change. I don’t think that accusing them will make them change. If you accuse them, then the instant reaction is to defend their positions. So by keeping up division, you will not achieve anything. Is that what you want?

Maybe not all of them. But if you want peace, you need to build bridges. Bridges they can pass. If you do not want peace and are happy with a divided America and the hate Trump created, then, of course, you can stay on the high horse and point fingers. Your choice.

It might be more efficient to say: ”For evil to flourish, all it needs is good men to do nothing, and we know that you, Congressmen, are good people deep down. You probably meant well when you supported Trump, believing his promises. Sometimes, the opposite of doing good is meaning well. Do good.”

The problem is psychological: his supporters have been supporting or at least ”normalizing” inexcusable behavior from the get go (”grab them by the…“) and it is terribly hard for any human being to publicly acknowledge that they have made a mistake.

Methinks, from what I have seen so far, that Trump‘s ”deals” aren’t worth the paper they are written on - if they are even put in writing at all (and signed with his sharpie).

A narcissist only “wins“ if you let him. The media have played an important role in letting him win, in giving him a daily, hourly platform to dominate the news. There’s a reason why psychologists advise people to ”no contact” on narcissists.

It is scary because he needs to distract from all the bad news inside the US. From Epstein, from the economy, from the job market, from Wiles, from his own despicable remarks on Rob Reiner‘s death.
December 17, 2025 at 10:16 AM
He certainly has some kind of syndrome. It was clear from the ”grab them by the…” tape that this man was not well suited to be a role model, not to speak of being in any high office.

Also, one wonders what context would make ”an alcoholic personality” sound less awful than it does there.

I think he‘s not just suing for the money: Any law suit sends a strong signal to other news outlets “if you do something that makes me look bad, …“ - which is weird since he is the first and foremost person to make himself look bad (“grab them by the…“)
