In the U.S. in 1825, *452* out of 1000 children born died before their 5th birthday.

By 1925, that number was 135 out of a 1000 children.

Today, in 2025, that number is *7*

And it is entirely due to advances in medicine, public health, and technology.

They won’t hate you. My younger one understood—she went on to get a PhD in P Chem. Actually, the older one understands too. She has kids of her own and a full time tech job. Everyone turned out just fine, including me. 😉

Probably unpopular opinion: but by boycotting, you are doing exactly what they want you to do — isolating those of us who are still fighting the good fight and cutting us off from scientific interactions that would benefit us all.
