Veterans Day reminds us to honor the brave people who fought, and continue to fight, for our country. My father's service overseas during the Cold War inspires me to this day. Thank you to all veterans for your courage and sacrifice.

Rain or shine, it was amazingly inspirational to be at #NoKings rallies all across #MI04 today, including Allegan, Saugatuck & Douglas, Holland and South Haven. Shoutout to Kalamazoo for having 10,000 people out there! It was a great day fighting for our country and Democracy.

There was such great energy in the room today at the @berriendems.bsky.social picnic. It’s always a pleasure to talk with you all and hear from the local candidates. Early voting begins in just two weeks, don’t forget to make your plan to vote.

I had a great time at the St. Julian parade in Paw Paw the other week. It is important to celebrate our farmers, producers and small businesses in Michigan. They help keep our local economy strong.

And you can’t beat an opportunity to walk with the star of every parade, Sparkle!

Yesterday, I met with health care providers and patients to hear how the “One Big Ugly Bill” Medicaid cuts will affect their services and care. Giving billionaires tax breaks while saddling working families and everyday people with higher healthcare costs is unconscionable.

Today, I am proud to announce the support of over 50 people endorsing my run for Congress in #MI04, including local electeds and community leaders. I’m honored to work with them to keep making a positive difference for hardworking families in the district and across Michigan.

I had a great time at the South Haven Blueberry Festival this weekend. It’s hard to be blue when meeting voters in South Haven.

This week I attended two town halls in #MI04.

Thank you for the amazing support in the first 24 hours of my campaign! I’ve built a reputation among Democrats and Republicans as a problem-solver and a strong voice for families trying to make ends meet. I will fight hard to be the kind of leader we need in Washington.

I believe when you work hard, put politics aside, focus on what matters, you can get things done. DC needs to help regular people by protecting health care and Medicaid; getting costs down; and letting women make their own health care decisions, instead of politicians.
