yeah the biggest reason I didn't buy C:S2 at all was just that it looks ugly. Which is really the biggest sin any citybuilder can commit

Yeah that's the thing, C:S2 improved on 1 in a few important QoL issues and regressed on everything else. Very frustrating. That said I think most of the 2 stuff can be done with mods in 1
