Marti Stiles is hitting the target and I hope she continues the fight. More people need to know how corrupt the Ford gov't is and how cozy they are with developers and unions who massively donated to Ford's campaign.

These American politicians don't know the meaning of diplomacy. They are bullies and gangsters attempting to extort every country in the world. They react on impulse with no rational thought given to consequences. A disagreement with them comes with risks, but we can't give in to bully tactics.

That is particularly true when men bend that faith for their own purposes, whether it be for money, power, control, or other vile goals.

I hope you're right. Democracies must stand together to fight this war. Ukraine is the leading edge and must be allowed to defend it's sovereignty, if not, which country is next.

Sometimes the diplomatic response sucks. They can't say publicly that this proposal looks like it was drafted by Putin and is a sham of a deal. Trump is Putin's puppet.

Trump has put Zelensky in an impossible situation. A deal that's not a deal, but a surrender. Putin is pressuring Trump to end this war in his favour and Trump, like the coward he is, has agreed to put the screws to the victim. Trump fears and admires Putin and will always bow to the strong man.

Well done. Keep making new opportunities for Canadian businesses so we can put more distance between ourselves and the US. The fact that Trump refused to attend based on false reports that white farmers were mistreated shows how he operates. His revenge politics is killing their economy.

I think the world is waking up to the fact that Trump and his fascist regime are so entrenched in the WH that it will be very difficult to remove him. There is no white knight on the horizon that can turn this around, so countries need to join Canada in their search for reliable partners.

Trump's peace plan is an embarrassment. After everything Ukraine has endured, Trump thinks they should just lay down for Putin. The plan is completely one-sided in favour of Russia. This is not a peace plan, but a capitulation.

Dani Smith doesn't give a fig about the ecological damage that would be caused by an oil spill in the Hecate Strait. This strait has been deemed the most dangerous waterway in Canada and an important resource for the Haida Gwaii . It's all about making more oil profits for AB and the O&G companies.

Yes, they think they own the world and all the world's riches are just for their personal pleasures. Sadly, for now that seems to be the case. Until the people finally realize how they're being screwed, it won't change.

Get over it. These guys are so thin skinned. They can hurl all the lies and insults they can come up with against those who don't agree with them or those they deem their enemies, but let someone tell the truth about their corrupt regime and oh boy, they're hurt to the core.

They were counting on the Senate to vote against, but surprised when they said yea. Now they had to find another reason not to release the files. Here it comes: the files are being investigated and can't be released. Expect the investigation to go on for 4 years.

I understand your concerns, but I'm also concerned about the threat on our border and the increasing aggressive stance of Russia, North Korea and China. We've neglected our military for too long and we must gear up now.
