Once the institutional connections start landing in public consciousness, it’s going to get messy. Not because one guy did something awful, (even though he DID) but because the rot touches places people desperately want to believe are safe and neutral.

And here’s why people cling to individual names: the systemic version is too big, too bleak, and too familiar. We’ve seen versions of this before (Iran-Contra, COINTELPRO, Watergate, etc) but this one mixes sex crimes, money, and intelligence. It hits every political nerve at once.

So what is about to happen is BIG. Think of it as the bizarro version of McCarthyism. What if, instead of his paranoid red scare fantasy, there was a real web of power to go after where everyone protects everyone else because the whole thing collapses if anyone tells the truth.

He’s astonishing. I love him and I STILL can’t believe how good he is half the time. Definitely on track to be a legend, and already redefining what the position means. Plus he elevates everyone around him. What a time to be an Eagles fan
