Connection & care can help end SV. Reach out to friends & family to check in, listen, & uplift each other. Supportive relationships create networks of care that make everyone feel valued & safe. Respect & safety grow when we stay connected. Together, we can build communities grounded in trust. 🍁

Setting healthy boundaries is an act of respect. Knowing & communicating your limits & honoring others’ comfort is key to consent & preventing SA. Healthy boundaries don’t push people away; they strengthen trust & connection. Honoring boundaries creates spaces where everyone feels respected & safe.

On #TransDayOfRemembrance we honor the lives lost to anti-transgender violence and stand with transgender survivors who face barriers to safety and justice. At MCASA, we believe every survivor of sexual violence deserves to live their authentic self, free from fear, discrimination, and violence.

⚠️ At MCASA we work every day to support survivors of sexual violence. Passing the Epstein Files Transparency Act is the right thing to do for survivors. It’s the right thing to do for accountability and to prevent future exploitation. Tell Congress to support survivors and pass HR4405!

Taking care of yourself is an essential part of caring for your community. Prioritize self-care by resting when you need to, moving your body & making time for activities that recharge you. Self-care supports prevention & healing, helping us show up for SA survivors & respond to harm w compassion 🍁

As we continue into #FNEweek we want to highlight the amazing care FNEs provide. FNEs are specially trained to offer compassionate and trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault and abuse, while also advocating for the importance of survivor autonomy and choice.
November 5, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Today for #FNEweek we want to highlight two important jobs FNEs take on: Collecting evidence and documenting findings. This aids law enforcement in their investigations and can help bring justice to survivors who are interested in the criminal justice route.
November 4, 2025 at 4:05 PM
It's Forensic Nurse Examiner Week! We'll be dedicating a post each day to thank FNEs. MCASA encourages those who work in the sexual assault response process to reach out to a FNE you know & thank them for providing medical treatment to survivors with compassion.

This Halloween, remember to look out for each other & build respectful party spaces! We can respect each other's boundaries & create environments where sexual violence isn't tolerated. Remember, costumes are not consent.
