As if having to witness the disrespect and hostility toward a female reporter with “Quiet, Piggy” wasn’t enough, we have to see it repeatedly indefinitely in the comments section as a way to “reclaim the upper hand.” I’d love to stop seeing this come up as a retort, it doesn’t achieve anything.

She’s keeping her door open with Trump in an attempt to demonstrate piousness - she’s already “humbly apologized” for her divisive rhetoric in the past, noting her Christian values. This would be a great start but the truth is this is all a ploy to position herself for a WH run in 2028.

She’s keeping her door open with Trump in an attempt to demonstrate piousness - she’s already “humbly apologized” for her divisive rhetoric in the past, noting her Christian values. This would be a great start but the truth is this is all a ploy to position herself for a WH run in 2028.

Johnson could have kept congress working productively on a bipartisan solution to the healthcare crisis while they were being paid and the govt was shutdown. Instead he uses the shutdown as an excuse for not having a plan (or concepts for that matter).
Mike Johnson: "If there was gonna be an extension, you'd be massive reforms. You'd need income caps. You should not be subsidizing healthcare for wealthy people. You'd also need Hyde protections on those things and other innovations."

Whats making ME reassess is his public denial that food prices are skyrocketing. He’s used to getting away with lying about issues that don’t directly affect the majority of folks. This is a unique opportunity for all Americans to see that he’s full of shit.
I’ve long thought Trump is good at picking fights that benefit him politically but the fact he’s fighting right now to starve Americans is making me reassess
