Right wing “Christians” are attacking bishops who call for mercy, defending or giving Nazi salutes, and giddily cheering for deportations, all while continuing to pretend that THEY are the ones who are being persecuted.

Damn them all to Hell.

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.

Marx wrote that history repeats itself, the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce. Despite the preponderance of clowns on stage right now, I greatly fear we are headed in the other direction.
