I absolutely love this time of year. I'm going to a Christmas Party tonight. I may not be a religious person but I will always celebrate food. I just want us to share bounty.

I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan but I just don't understand why I can't win this year. Can it be because we have too many good players and each wants their moment?

I can never eat much on Thanksgiving because I’m tired of being around food after the couple days of prep so my real Thanksgiving meal enjoyment comes the day after…and the day after that…and..

I roast my turkey breast down for the first half of the cooking process then turn it up to brown the breast and skin the second half.
Why? I want all that fat from the back and thighs to go down to the breast where it's dry. The browning the second half seals the juice in. I have NEVER dry turkey.

Good way to roast your turkey. Put turkey into a pan, dust with a flour, wrap drum & wing tips in aluminum foil. Season with seasoning salt, pepper and poultry spice. Then cover with 1lb hickory or apple bacon roast as normal. Tent with aluminum foil. Take bacon and foil off last 45 minutes.
