Love the idea of rotting logs! Great habitats!

You may have already done this and I just read the plan incorrectly, but if you can, try to keep pollinator plants back a bit from the road. Poor bees and butterflies can get smooshed! 🚗

I’m imagining how you could do this IRL… crafting FTW! Good job with MSpaint. Photoshop is pretty awful these days. No need to switch!

I wouldn’t try to separate out the tiny seedlings if they’re too close together. You’ll damage their roots. Depending on the plant, they should be OK as clumps. If they need more space, it’s good to choose the seedling that has the most leaves to keep and clip off the stem of the other one.

That is a great idea!! Native plants are always best for wildlife!

You got this! I’d recommend keeping your darling kitty indoors. Sadly, kitties kill lots of wildlife and we don’t often see it. They’re sneaky little bums! 😂

Omg I LOVE this!! Is it photoshopped or real??

Awesome! That’s way sooner than I thought 👍

I think Monsanto makes it so the seeds the corn produces are sterile =(

Have you tried fermenting the seeds first? Tomato seeds don’t sprout without a little fermentation because otherwise they’d grow right out of the tomato on the vine! It’s a little tricky but you can get it with some trial and error.

What do they do to native plants?

SAME

Ah! It’s probably easier to do raised beds if you’re OK with the initial cost. Make sure they’re made of untreated cedar!

I love these posts! What kind of camera do you have? Can you just watch them on your phone all the time?

Where do you get your plants? How do you keep them watered for the first season?
March 22, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Looks beautiful! If you can, wait to prune until a couple weeks after the last frost. That way all the insects living in the plant stems and debris will be ready to leave!
