We have grown this salmon color in the past and it is my favorite. They come in some of the taller mixes.

Cardinal flower seeds, if I remember right, need surface sowing. They don't want to be covered at all.

On weeding of cactus. Most weeds can be dried out. For those that may need pulling, I use a pair of large tweezers. In extreme cases you may need to repot. Heavy gloves and a long wrap of newspaper are very hepful in any cactus work.

I also have the occasional amethyst Moon vine from seed which must be 20 years old. If I had room they would have a place.

They are seedy weedy and seed can last 15 or more years. I Keep one and control the seed production. We once had a white flowered variety.
